The Revival Hymn

A gripping compilation...and a little insight into what God has been pressing upon my heart...

The Revival Hymn (35 Minutes)

My eyes fill with tears, my skin crawls with goosebumps - I get chills up and down my spine. Yet...as I sit in wonder at the conviction and truth of this message...I struggle to find the conviction in my own actions to take it up with all reckless abandon. Isn't that the point? To follow Jesus with complete and total reckless abandon?
Matthew 16:25-27
Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done.
I don't so much believe in a "revival of the church" in general...as I do know full well there must be a revival in the hearts of every so called "Christian". The truth is - the church is toothless and ineffective, and the change must start individually...

I pray that for any readers...and you can pray that for me. Reckless abandon to Jesus...to be a Jesus Freak. No more Six Flags Over Jesus.
